This treatment is indicated for dental restoration in posterior teeth (molars and premolars) that suffer from mild to moderate caries and in cases of fractures or cracks where the damage is not significant enough to indicate a crown.

It is performed in the dental laboratory after tooth preparation and the creation of a working model and then it is cemented in another session and can be made in composite resin, porcelain or metal. This type of restoration not only returns the tooth aesthetics, but also to its normal function.
